His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, arrived in Budapest, Hungary for a State Visit scheduled to take place on 18th November 2025. Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen.

Upon arrival at Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport, His Majesty was accorded the honour of a Static Guard of Honour and warmly welcomed by Dr. Timár István Szilveszter, Director-General of the Sándor Palace; and Ms. Katinka Kónya, Chief of Protocol of the Sándor Palace.

The arrival of His Majesty was also welcomed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Jefferson Leong Weng Hong , Chargé d'affaires ad interim Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium (Non-Resident Embassy of Brunei Darussalam to Hungary).
